Great Floating Frame
The frame fit the canvas perfectly. Its very sturdy, was easy to assemble, and looks great. This frame is aluminum with a natural wood veneer.

Bought this for a 30 x 40 canvas print. It was easy to assemble and worked well. It is metal so it does scratch easy. For the price and functionality I would buy again. It’s hard to find this size frame especially for this price.

Great value, but a few challenges…
The value is great! For large (60 x 36″) canvases other frames would cost from $300 and up for DYI. I have purchased several of these and although they typically look very nice when on a wall. The downsides are that the corners don’t always match perfectly as noted in several other reviews. And, the larger the frame, the more difficult it is to get the corners perfect and the canvas centered perfectly. To put the canvas in, center it, then have to flip it over while trying to hold it in place is before attaching is problematic. The videos are great, but they show a small piece that is much easier on both these fronts. I also think that if they provided some “spacer bars” to assist with the centering, it would be a nice add to the hardware.

Don’t buy!
Very disappointed!After screwing the canvas to the frame, the metal expend and not staying close. Also Instructions missing info, you need to add the hangers before closing the frame and screw in the canvas, cuz after you do all of that you can’t get the hangers in.Very cheap and not working as it should

Great option for framing paintings at home
What a great low cost option for framing paintings! Easy to put together and looks great. One note, with some canvases the silver frame on the inside is visible when looking at the painting, so you may need to paint the inside of the frame so the bright silver isn’t visible.

Great Frame Great Value
I can’t beat the price or quality. The corners are mitered very good. The gold metal adds to my artwork, but doesn’t take over. Hope they don’t change anything!

I bought this metal floater frame for a large painting, and it fits perfectly. It was easy to assemble, looks great, and really enhances the overall presentation of my painting. The price is also much better compared to traditional wood frames. Very happy with this purchase!

If ordering a floating frame from Akfado your order might arrive without the necessary hardware to assemble the frame. This was the case for me. Also from the time of ordering to receiving the frame took 10 days. How long will it take now to receive the required hardware?

This was returned because the connection and hanging pieces were all missing. Good communication with seller, however they would not send missing pieces, so accepted the return and full refund. The four frame sides that i did receive seemed well made and exactly as described.
