Great small size, came fully charged, plenty of adjustable light for most conditions. IP68..essential for rainy areas. We get many power outages and I got this to put on my porch during an outage as it is very dark and spooky. I have bulbs that automatically turn when the power goes out for insude the house. This lantern is better since it lasts so long. AIso is good value for the money spent to feel safe . Very functional. My only con is I wish you could read the buttons in the dark as they are not at all visible in the darkness. You have to feel for them and hope you have the right one. Great for gifts, car, sheds, obvious camping, and to live on your porches to light your way during an outage. I like the small size. And for that, it really puts out lots of light. A must have for everyone. It has great power.

Feels very Solid and bright. Smaller than inexpected but I Would recommend it. Impressive instructions booklet is a nice touch over cheap single papers.I actually read the directions and learned how to get crazy bright when pushing both buttons at same time to turn on for short periods of great light. And learned that certain light can see through fog better than others. Nice to know for my next hiking backpack trip.

Very pleasantly surprised – way better than advertised
I’m very pleasantly surprised with this lantern. I ordered a couple in the wake of our most recent storm-related power outage because I wasn’t really interested in continuing to try to poop by candlelight, but I was a little dubious when I placed the order. Boy, was I wrong. These things look cheap and plastic-y, but they’re not. I’m super clumsy and dropped one of them on the sidewalk on the way in, and then knocked it off the kitchen counter accidentally. Didn’t even scuff it. They’re also holy-crap bright. They have a function that only lasts for 3 minutes before it automatically turns off, but the lamp gets so bright that you can’t even look at it. I guess that might go in my “cons” section: it’s super hard to turn off in that mode (the 1200LM one). You can close your eyes and see the inside of your eyelids with that. it also has an SOS mode that flashes red lights twice a second, which I can only imagine would be really useful in an emergency. So, here’s pros and cons:Pros: super ultra bright. Holy crap bright. “Let there be light and there was light” bright. I read that you can see 1200LM from a search and rescue helicopter (but I also read that on the Internet, so…..). It’s sturdy and waterproof, charges relatively quickly, and has a loooooooong life (the claim is 80 hours on one charge, although I haven’t gotten to test that yet). The SOS mode (flashing red strobe) is also a nice feature.Cons: There’s a fairly cheap silicone band for hanging on hooks/tents/tree limbs and I’m not sure how that’ll actually hold up. The only real criticism I have (and this one is actually pretty serious) is that on both units I purchased, the charging port is located on the bottom of the unit and it’s extremely loose – you have to lay the lantern on its side and carefully position the cord. The slightest movement (your cat hitting the charging cable ten feet away, for example) will jar it loose and it won’t charge. I tried this with the cables included in the package, as well as with a couple of my own, and the ports are just a wee bit bigger than most USB-C ports. That’s not worth dinging it a star in the rating, but it’s still worth noting just in case.

This is the second lantern I bought since the first one was excellent. The second one was as bright and wasn’t keeping a charge like the first one. I threw the box out so I couldn’t return to Amazon. I got a hold of Glocusent and they immediately replaced it. It’s very bright! Excellent customer service!

Best lights I have bought in a long while. Excellent in shed, garage, camping, car almost anywhere. Light weight, nice size (will fit in outside of rucksack or medium size pocket. Waterproof , long lasting batteries. USB C charging. Cannot find anything not to like.
