Beautiful Way to Light Up the Walkway with Old Repurposes Lanterns
I wanted to light up our walkway and had some old lanterns that I painted and wanted to have lights that would go on and off by themselves. These fairy lights are perfect and look so beautiful in the lanterns. They brighten up the walkway in a very decorative manner and I am so glad that the timer works perfectly. This was a very inexpensive way to add a pretty way of lighting the walkway. The remote is great. I had some older fairy lights that were supposed to have the timer feature but they never worked and I tried the timer that came with these lights on the old lights and they work with the timer for the new lights. This was an added and surprise bonus! I love the lights and am very pleased with this purchase.

Major upgrade from the old lights my little tree had
Got these for various projects at Christmastime, including upgrading an old 2 foot tree that had incandescent lights which no longer work anyway. I was delighted by the strobe feature. This is like the twinkle feature you’ve seen in Rockefeller center and in front of Fox on those huge professional trees where a random light pops with a burst of light. Then another. Then another. I guess it’s called strobe but it’s not like strobe light in a disco. My personal favorite is Asyn Fade. I got a white decoration set and it helps the lights to glow even better. White tinsel plus these lights is something to see. Time to repurchase. Anything that can be powered by USB, and has this many functions is perfect.Months later I was looking for a USB string light in my collection that does warm white. This one doesn’t, although the pictures seem to hint that it does. Well it’s not worth losing a star over, but just so you know, there’s no warm white. Double tapping W didn’t work. And yellow is a greenish yellow, not a 2700k mimic for incandescent.Update: I’ve found more and more uses for these, even though there’s no dimmer, there’s some wonderful blues and turquoise colors and if you’re into that, this is a great set for it. There’s a gorgeous leafy green color too. Great for that spooky Halloween green glow through the windows. There’s a problem though. Only one controller per set of 2. I bought two sets but I lost one controller. I ended up literally taping the controller to the wall to make sure I wouldn’t lose it. I’m that paranoid now.Since the controller is really the cost of the item… I mean, the LEDs don’t cost much, so the price is really to pay the programmers and designers… I feel that it’s high risk to only get one remote. If you lose it, you’re down to pressing the button and hoping you luck onto the setting you want.So I could wish for a dimmer and for two controllers not just one. But, please don’t make it require an app or have a bluetooth antenna. I don’t want to have to do surgery on the USB to disable the bluetooth. I’m really not a fan of using apps for everything. I appreciate the controllers provided, instead.

Good quality, bright lights
These lights worked great for a pumpkin display. Lit up well and really helped display stand out. Flexible wire allows you to wrap around trees or other objects.

Tangled when unpacking.
Looks great. Much easier to use than traditional Christmas lights. But came out of the package in a tangled mess. Once untangled was great, but be careful unpacking it.

Arrived quickly in good condition. These are waaaay longer than expected but I love that! There are 4 per pack. The lights are small and just the right brightness for my purposes. The wire on the string bends nicely, so you can wrap these where you need and even connect them together by wrapping an end to another. They even have a timer option on the battery box. My only complaint is the battery box on the first one I opened to add batteries was really difficult to get open. I tried my fingernails, then a flat screwdriver, finally a small nail to get it open. The nail worked. The next one opened easily.

Great lights.
These are fun. They shine orange with a bit of green from the pumpkin top. One or two of the plastic lights fell off from the strand, but it really made no difference in the overall effect. Aways appreciate the timer.

Seems bright, but nothing special.
Other than the 6hr timer, not alot of functionality. No blinking, fading or other special effects. Also uses 3 AA batteries, which makes the case larger than other 2 battery sets I have. This may explain why it _seems_ brighter. Another issue is that despite the lights themselves being (untested) waterproof, the battery case isn’t. I wouldn’t put it outside in the rain without a plastic bag wrapped around it.But for simple indoor use, seems a reasonable purchase.On actual use, lowering this to 1 star … Do not buy!!! The case is really cheap plastic. One case broke falling 6 inches onto a kitchen counter. On another case, the horrible snap closure broke when trying to open it to replace the batteries. Not at all suitable for qet locations wither.Speaking of batteries, this set eats thru them far far faster than other fairy light sets I have – 2 or 3 weeks on the 6 hr a day mode vs 2 to 3 months!So, in summary cheap in the worst way, battey hog, and extreme lack of features.

Beautiful Lights
These worked beautifully as table runners under the green cheesecloth down the banquet tables for our 4-H achievement banquet. It is a little challenging to open the battery door, but it works great. Very bright and delicate looking.
