A successful Christmas gift
This was a Christmas gift for my wife. She likes it. I use it too, for trimming my beard. Took a little while to get used to working four inches away from the magnified side but it’s amazing the details you can see and occasionally correct.When searching for a present I found quite a number of functionally and cosmetically identical mirrors at a wide range of prices. This one was not the cheapest but it was on the lower end, pricewise. It was easy to install with a little planning because there was a wall stud right where I needed to drive screws. I can’t say how well it would work to mount this on sheetrock alone. The rechargeable battery lasts many weeks between recharges and the frame has remained tight and without sagging so far.Of the three light settings we both prefer the yellowish one. The only nit I can think of to pick is that the light control is on the non-magnified side of the mirror while we only use the magnified side. Means we have to turn it over every time we use it to turn on and adjust the light and then turn it over again to turn the light off. Sigh! Definitely a first world problem.

Modern and sleek
Solid and sturdy mirror that has the added convenience of pulling in and out AND also up and down. I used to have a countertop mirror, but it took a lot of space. With a recent remodel I purchased this mirror and am very happy to date. I am fairly short, and my husband is tall, so, the ability to move up and down was a great benefit since this is fixed to the wall. Installation took only a minute and there is no risk of it falling off the wall. The mirror size is perfect for seeing your entire face and has the ability to switch to 3 different light settings. I especially like that it does not have to be plugged in saving an extra cord on the counter. Look is modern and sleek.

Moves up and down
I am so happy with this makeup mirror. The reason is, it has an extra “joint” that allows you to move it up and down. I spent a lot of time looking for this. You can use it either sitting down or standing up. It takes 5 minutes to install. The light is ultra bright. The 10x side shows you so much detail that you are relieved to put it on the 1x side.It would be nice if this came in different colors but you can always mask the mirrors and spray paint the rest.

I do like this mirror: It came in a box which had a lot of wear and tear from transport, on the outside, but inside, the mirror was well protected in sculpted foam to keep it safe. Installation was a breeze. I removed my old non-powered mirror, which had a round base attachment, and simply installed this mirror over the existing holes. Perfect! The mirror had been pre-charged, so we could see the lighting effect right away. It charges via a USB cable, plugged into a port on the side of the frame. The mirror is 2-sided, and lights on both sides. One side is a standard mirror, and the second side has a 10X magnification. The lighting controls are only on the standard, non-magnifying side, and are controlled with just a touch to the switch indicator on the glass. The switch controls the levels brightness, and allows selection of 3 colour lighting. I like and appreciate the small “ball joint” at the bottom of the mirror cradle, which also allows the mirror to tilt and swivel. That is very handy for precise arrangement.I said previously that installation was easy, but here are some installation hints: 1. If possible, attach the mirror to a stud in the wall. 2. If a stud is not available, don’t use the provided wall anchors. Instead get a pair of the heavy duty plastic screw in anchors instead. 3. If you are installing the mirror in a bathroom and near a sink — then block the sink drain, and cover the sink with a towel. There are some small screws and tiny plastic washers just waiting to escape. Doing this will make your life and installation much better.While.I am impressed with this mirror, I wish there was a control switch on both sides. However, the matt black finish, flexibility of movement, and ease of installation far outweigh this minor comment. I do like this mirror.

This review is for the 9″ Wall Mounted Makeup Lighted Mirror, Rechargeable Double Sided LED Vanity Mirror with Height Adjustable&1X/10X Magnification, 3 Color Lights Touch Screen Dimmable 360°Swivel MirrorItem came as pictured with no noticeable defects.Installation of this mirror was easy, and it comes with everything you need to install (except for the tools). There is a plate within the base that gets mounted to the wall, then the base gets attached to the mounting plate. Figure out where you want it, mount the plate & off you go.The light is adjustable for both brightness & colour tone.What I like about this mirror is that it’s black, which I am using it on my side of the vanity (my wife has her own).I also like that the light is not corded, which lets me charge it & then put the charging cord away for a clean install.I also like that you can adjust the height of the mirror after its mounted. Most mirrors I’ve seen only go side to side, and the mirror itself pivots up & down. This one can pivot the entire mirror base up & down for different height users to get a look straight on.Finally, I like that there are screws for every pivot point which allows you to tighten this down if it gets too loose from use.Overall very pleased with this & found no reason to deduct any stars.
