Need additional padding if buying as a camping cot.
Very sturdy and well made. I bought it as a camping cot for in my van but wanted the ability to raise the legs or head…I purchased a 5 inch 30×75 high density foam mattress to go on top and it has worked perfect for the back of my Dodge Grand Caravan. It also gives me the advantage of some storage space underneath. The padding that comes with it isn’t bad for maybe a day at the beach or lake, but not for any longterm overnight sleeping on it. Definitely need more…the form high density foam gives the padding I need and still allows me to sit up comfortably in my van with plenty of head room. I highly recommend! Would definitely purchase again. Great value for the price!

Great chair, only 1 major issue for me…
Great chair. Heavy duty. Nice firm structure. My only negative is I wish someone would make these type of chair legs higher/longer so it sits higher off the ground. When you’re a chubby senior citizen, getting up from something that sits that low to the ground is a real struggle…

Poor fabric that doesn’t last
I bought this chair about a year ago and I kept it in the box for about the first 6 months. In early spring of 2025 I finally placed it in the backyard.Now in November 2025 the fabric is completely torn on one side. I’m in the very mild climate (California) with almost no rain through the summer time.This chair has a good solid frame but the quality of fabric is subpar. It will only lasts short term.There is a one year warranty though so if yours falls apart quicker then mine, there is a chance for a replacement.

This is the Schrödinger’s cat of beach chairs, comfortable and uncomfortable in equal parts.
When you look at the picture in the display, you’re thinking about yourself, enjoying the comfort that this chair can offer. Once set up this chair does truly offer great comfort, however, everything outside of that circumstance is an absolute nightmare. The chair has no means to collapse properly or stay collapsed. It is cumbersome at best, and incredibly bulky. The carrying strap might as well be made out of concertino wire because that’s what it feels like on your shoulder when you carrying that heavy bulky item from the parking lot to the beach. So unless you planning on putting it up or folding it and keeping it by the pool don’t bother with this. It is the most impractical item to take to a public or hotel beach.

3 & 1/2 starsThe chair itself is very well built, good quality. I knocked off a star because the cushioning is NOT as full/plump as the photo depicts. I realized this as soon as the box arrived because of the thinness of the box. I also knocked off half a star because the chair is not as big/wide as in the photo and that along with the thin cushioning is just false advertising.

The frame of the chair itself is magnificent, however, I am extremely disappointed in the cushion that came with it! It is nowhere as thick or as firm as shown in the picture! It is extremely thin and airy!
