Beautiful, well made plates
These plates are beautiful and unique. They are a great size and shape to hold food. They have an edge that keeps the food from sliding off. They do well in the microwave, and in the dishwasher. I bought the Ceylon blue and liked them so much I bought another set of the Heather green. I am highly pleased with both, and they go well together. These are a very good value. They came packed securely, with care to keep them intact in transit.

Beautiful plates.
These plates are beautiful and a good value. They were packaged very well also. I would recommend them to anyone. Be aware however, they say 8.5″ but they are not. I needed 9″ plates but went with them anyway because the difference was only .5 inches. They are all 8″ x 8.25 inches. I will keep them because they are very nice quality, but ideally 8.5 would have been much better. They need to update the size.

Irregular pattern adds to it’s rustic charm
These are well made plates that handle being used in a microwave or dishwasher with no problems. Keep in mind that the sizes are irregular, meaning that the plates are not perfectly round, but could be slightly oval or elongated. This adds to the rustic charm as all of the plates are roughly 10.5″ in diameter – just don’t expect perfectly round plates.The glaze that is used adds to the beauty – it has a nice blue color and is great for everyday use. The plates arrived well packaged with no chips or scratches and they have a nice heft to them. I am very pleased with this purchase

Beautiful plates, but some have divots in the finish
I ADORE these plates — when I ordered, I was choosing between these and another, more raised edge plate, but visually, these win 100%.They aren’t super heavy, seem to run fine in the dishwasher, microwave well, and don’t make a godawful sound when I’m scraping them with silverware.BUT! Quite a few of the plates — almost all of them, actually — have little divots and pockmarks in the finish. I wouldn’t mind this if it were on the back of the plate, but almost all were on the front — and some are incredibly noticeable, especially when the light hits. My concern is that the finish will chip and wear away around these spots over time, especially if you’re using them consistently and your food and silverware scrape over them. I actually bought two sets of the dinner plates in the hopes that I’d be able to get a full set without the pockmarks, but out of all 12, only 3 were completely free of them. Another 3 had the divots but they were more shallow.I love these plates but am debating returning them because I can’t keep hoping the next set is just as I’d like, and I’m worried they’ll chip before long. It’s a shame because again — between the two sets (this one and the Leratio hard edge stoneware plates) this is the one I’d rather have, but I don’t have the same quality concerns with the other set.
