Great bath mat
Love love love this bath mat! It fits almost the entire length of the bath tub. Some people said it’s stiff and doesn’t stick to the bath. At first when it came it was a little stiff, but over time it has softened up and lays ice and flat. Sometimes it doesn’t always stick down but once you get some water under it and mash it down, it sticks for the whole bath. It had a strong scent at first but that has gone away after a few months of use. Keeps my baby from slipping all over the bath tub. Overall this bath mat works great for what we need and we haven’t had any issues with it!

Serves its purpose well. It takes some hot water and time standing on it to get it to flatten out completely, and I recommend warming and moistening it with bath water to get it to stick to the bottom of the tub better. That said, the bottom of my bath tub is a little bit textured and most of the suction cups do in fact stick to it, not all, but enough to keep it it place. The hanger notches on the ends are wonderful. I blame the imperfect suction cup stick-factor on my textured bathtub, not the mat, if I stick it to the side of the tub where it’s perfectly smooth it sticks wonderfully and requires a good yank to remove. Beautifully and thoughtfully designed product.

Perfect!
I have a small, non- textured tub. It fits like a glove. From the other reviews on here I just cut the chase and added about half inch of water and stuck it to the bottom starting from on end working my way to the other end, trying to hit all the suction cups I could. I have to really yank on this thing when we’re done with the bath to get it to let go! I feel like its cushiony enough to be comfortable for my son as well as safe. He sure doesn’t slip and slide all around. (Btw he just decided he wasn’t gonna sit in his bath seat anymore 😭, he wants to crawl around in the tub, and that’s why I bought this.)The mat was rolled up when it came in the mail but after 3 baths now its getting flat and trust me, it is having NO problem sticking to the floor (again, non-textured tub). Also, slight smell, also gone, nothing to cry about, it IS plastic. All plastic smells. Ever smelled a burning tire? 😷And to the one person who said something about a black mark/stain, mine had one too.. Also washed off.. Wahhh..I love this mat.Glad I found it.Makes bath time fun and safe. And saves me a nightly heart attack.

Convenient hang-up feature
Nice and soft place for my son to sit during his bath. I also LOVE that I can hang it up when he’s done using it. Makes for easy cleaning of the tub and avoiding mold from water getting trapped underneath. Only complaint is that it doesn’t suction super well to the bottom of the tub. A tip: try suctioning it while the tub is filling and has a small amount of water on the bottom. The water seems to help. I also just get right in the tub and walk on it to get it suctioned into place. It’s usually not fully attached, but more than good enough to keep still while my son gets a bath.

Best bath mat! A little more expensive than one you can find at the big box stores, but so worth the extra $!We have had this for about 2-3 weeks and love this mat! I read the reviews before purchasing this mat, the bottom of our tub is a little bit textured but is very slippery when wet, so I wasn’t sure if this was going to work for our tub, but it does! Even while bathing a wiggly, rammy toddler! Definitely going to buy one for an upcoming baby shower gift!

Uncomfortable
I thought this would be great for grip on the bottom of the bathtub for the purpose of my daughters baths. The appearance is so cute and aesthetic and I thought it would help with slip resistance, but I couldn’t get her to sit on it after she decided it was uncomfortable. For the price of this, it is not extra large. It did not fit my tub floor like other extra large bathmats, that are very thin and cheap. I would say it’s about medium sized. The suction wasn’t that great either as the material was very think to uncrease. However, the material is so durable that it actually hurt her buttocks I only liked the built-in hook. I did return.

Sucks that it doesn’t suck
We have a standard sized tub, and this covers 2/3 of the bottom, which is fine, but if I bathe my babies together one might have cheek hanging off the mat. (They need appropriate space.) I wouldn’t take a full star off for that, because I didn’t measure before ordering. I will consider it for the next mat purchase.The reason I docked so many stars is because the suction cups do not work. I tried it with a damp surface, covered in water, after the bath was empty, nothing. I tried to individually push each cup down with my thumb, stepping on it, (my 2 year old crawled in to help), tossing it down onto the tub, nothing. It took longer trying to figure it out than bathing my 11 month old. Neither one of my babies moved on it, and the surface was very non-slip textured. It felt like the sole of a tennis shoe for reference. We’ll see how they do once they get bored watching me push down suction cups.It may be the fact that it is odd shaped in my tub, but it is not as aesthetically pleasing as the photos. It’s better than granny flowers, but it hardly looks like water rippling. Honestly, if I liked the functionality of the product, I wouldn’t bring it up. Since I’m putting it all on the table, I thought I’d share that too.

Great bath mat for toddler, awesome suction, very durable and easy to clean. I do pull it up after every bath to hang up to dry so it doesn’t get moldy, it has built in hooks for hanging on curtain rod or shower head. My toddler seems to be comfortable even though it isn’t soft and doesn’t slip and fall- if it were softer it would probably grow mold. It’s really long and covers basically our entire standard tub.

Purchased this mat on a whim and I am very glad we did. It provides a safe surface for my busy 1 year old son to be on in the tub! The colour is great, and it sectioned well to our textured tub. I especially like the size- it covers the whole bottom of our tub and ends right before the drain. I also really like being able to hang it up to dry- I hand it on our handheld shower hose and it works perfectly.I have recommended this tub mat to all of my mom friends! 5/5

I have been using this for 2+ years for my toddler and baby. No issues at all, it’s a great mat with a good size for a lot of coverage, it’s sturdy and doesn’t slip around. Some of the negative reviews mention it doesn’t stick down well – I also thought this when I first purchased it but it’s because I was trying to stick it down in an empty bath with no water! As soon as you have an inch of water it suctions perfectly. Added benefit it hangs up to dry. No issues at all, am very happy with this purchase.

This is THE bathmat to get for your little one (or for yourself if you need a non-slip surface in your tub). We used to have another bathmat that ended up ripping and the suctions failed to work over time. I was constantly fighting with it to stay in place. This bathmat is super sturdy, a nice heavy weight so it stays in place and the suctions work flawlessly. It’s extra long so it fills the entire length of the tub which is wonderful. My favourite feature is that you can hang it from the shower head to dry. Our shower tiles are textured and they don’t hold suction cups so having this feature was awesome for us to get it up and out of the way for drying. Was a little more expensive than some of the other mats but it was well worth the extra $10. This mat will last us a while:) I have been thoroughly impressed with all all of the Boon products we have tried.
