These solar lights are absolutely perfect for my patio! They charge quickly during the day and stay bright all night long. When I received my lights I found the remote control did not work. I contacted them and am so impressed. They were polite, very helpful and wanted to make things right. They shipped me a replacement at no additional charge and it works beautifully. I love the lights and have to applaud this company for their outstanding customer service. Very Dim and Dimmer Feature Pointless
These lights are very dim. They don’t really produce any light and are mostly just for an aesthetic in my opinion. The strand of lights arrived with several bulbs already burnt out. The functionality of the set up and remote are simple, however the dimmer setting is pointless. The lights look exactly the same whether on 100% brightness or 25% brightness. Would not reccomend for anyone hoping to add a little extra light in their space and will be returning.

The Brightown 50’ Solar light String kit arrived in a branded box. On one side of the box, you have contact information, mentioning warranty, a web site, and a US phone number. Inside is the 50’ solar lights with solar panel, remote, two ways of securing the solar panel on the ground or with screws on the wall, a good quantity of zip ties, a spare bulb, and a manual. Unlike security lights, the batteries are inside the solar panel, and I have no idea of the mAh size. This kit is complete, looks well made, and the bulbs are plastic, which is a bonus, not having to worry about them shattering.Installation was fairly easy, though I needed to make sure on pacing them even on both sides of the front porch. I simply clipped them on for now with the clips on the bulb sockets, though I might change that using the round adjacent openings, as I will see how they hold up this winter. They look good, as even my neighbour that gave me a hand, commented the next day on how bright they lit up. Unfortunately, already a bulb is bad and needed replacing, though I wonder where I can find replacement bulbs, if needed. The included remote is easy to use, yet, I like the bright setting, since they are so high up.It has been a few weeks since they been set up, and everything is fine so far into the fall, even through some rain. I think depending on placement, it would be better if the bulbs were closer together, giving it a better lit atmosphere. Of course that would mean more bulbs, with more of a power drain. This Brightown 50’ Solar Light String, is a complete kit, easy to set up, gives a nice ambience, and a handy remote, to change the brightness depending on your needs. Thanks for reading.

The real value in these is that you can make them work for so many different set ups, without worrying about where will you plug it in which is a huge logistical issue with outdoor lights for me typically.These lights give you a solar option(my favorite) but also if there hasn’t been enough light lately you can also charg it or add batteries. I most enjoy the solar option as it’s the easiest on my electrical bill but I love that the other options exist as solar panels sometimes stop working so there are alternatives if that happens.The light bulbs are on the smaller side but that’s a nice look depending on what you’re looking for.

I hung them along the garden first so I could test them out and make sure everything works fine prior to climbing up a 30ft ladder and putting them up – once in a while I manage to think ahead, although this time it would have actually worked out fine LOL. I did make sure to tighten each bulb first as I know they can sometimes become a little loose in transit; there were only a few that were a little loose. Of course then they sat in the sun for a few days until I could test them out, but last night I finally had the time and… perfection. They worked great! Now to get out the ladder… I’ll be using nails, and then the zip ties to hang them from the nails.I wanted to get this review up, so I only have a photo of them on the garden, but I’ll update the review at a later date with a photo of them on the barn, and any other notes or updates I may have. I think they’re going to look really sweet! Fingers crossed that they work well through Canadian winters, but they’re waterproof so that’s a great start.

I really like these solar string lights. The warm white color is dimmable, and I can easily adjust the brightness to set the right mood. They automatically turn off during the day and on at night, which is so convenient. The solar panel means no extra electricity cost, and on days with heavy snow or rain when charging isn’t ideal, the panel can even be detached and charged separately, though I don’t think I’ll need to do that often.The best part is the remote control. I can manage all the settings from inside the house, which is a big plus, especially on cold days when I don’t want to go outside just to adjust the lights.I set them up on my deck, and the atmosphere has completely transformed, it feels so warm and inviting now.Overall, these are practical, stylish, and very easy to recommend.
