Simple but very useful on the campsite!
I had one of these years ago and left it at a campsite never to be seen again. I’m glad I found this to replace it.These are very handy on a campsite surrounded by trees. I like to hang a propane lantern on a nearby tree using one of these. Keeping it a bit separated from the campsite the bright lantern draws most of the nighttime insects, keeping them away from us and our activities. This hangar is perfect for this as it is capable of being used on most trees from just a few inches in diameter to larger trees.

Chain chain chainnnn.
Pretty simple item specifically made for Coleman Lanterns… not much to be said for it besides that it works as advertised and is a quality product. It should be lasting as long as the lantern itself does.

Not just for hanging lanterns

Great multi use hanger
We have purchased these lantern holders in the past from a local retailer. We haven’t been able to get them the last few months, so purchased from Amazon. The price is very close to what the retail store charged. We purchase three for the express purpose of hanging our bird feeders in the trees to discourage bears from eating the seeds. So far the bear hasn’t climbed the tree to get to the feeder – easier pickings elsewhere.

These also work for lighter weight camping solar showers and camping shower pump heads!
These hangers also work for lighter weight solar showers — the kind that you fill with water and leave in the sun for awhile to warm up. Keep in mind that water weighs about 8 pounds per gallon, so don’t expect the hangers to hold huge amounts of water. The hangers also work well to hold up shower heads on battery or rechargeable camping shower pumps. These hangers really grip into the tree bark. I have left them up permanently at a camping spot we own, and there has been only minor rust even though they go through snow, rain, etc.

I had one for years and used it every camping trip, except left behind somewhere couple years ago. I was so happy i could find this exact one and expect to enjoy my coleman lantern again 🙂

It works

It hangs your lantern on a tree which helps shade the light a bit depending on how you aim it.

Helps to make the area around the campsite brighter !!

It works well, but I find that the loop that the lantern hangs from is a little shallow for my liking. Bent it a bit more tight her to make it safer. well worth it.
