    He’s awesome!
I have a large snake who is an escape artist and a butthead cat who likes to climb on top of her cage. I’ve had to replace the top to her tank and there’s no way to latch the new one down. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone I had the thought of looking for a gargoyle to put on top of the tank. This dude is so perfect for the job. He’s about the weight of a brick which is what I had there to begin with, he’s wide enough for the area of the tank I want to guard from the cat jumping up, and he’s not too tall to block the shelf on the wall behind the tank. He’s got a few odd details including what looks like a small rock inside his nose but I just call it his booger. Another reason why I liked this particular gargoyle is because I have kids and I didn’t want anything too scary but just enough to keep the cat away. I think he’s just perfect.

    Very nice detail!
I love this statue! It’s a little smaller than I had expected. It’s light weight but looks like it’s carved out of stone. I wish it were just a little bigger. It would have that stand out wow factor if it were just 4 or 5 inches wider. I was expecting it to fill my top shelf. As you can see in the picture, I still have plenty of room for another decoration. I’m very happy with my purchase although for the size, I think it should be $10 – $15 cheaper. I paid $59

    Beautiful
This looks totally badass. It was lighter than I expected and well packed in Styrofoam. It really does look like stone. The quality is excellent. I am very pleased with him.

    Awesome gargoyle
It scared the neighbor’s kid. If that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is.

    Gargoyles
These gargoyles worked great for my Halloween gate pillars. They are lightweight, but yet sturdy. They adhere easily using Styrofoam adhesive that I got from the hot wire foam factory to the tops of my foam pillars with ease. They look like the real thing!

    Perfect!!
No dislikes. I put this on a shelf in the “throne room” of a bathroom. The shelf is high and he looks down…Just perfect. It’s resin, so don’t drop it especially on a hard surface. I also wouldn’t put him outside. I’ve been buying Design Toscano items for well over 20 years and have found the quality density wise has definitely gone down. I have pieces from 20 years ago that handled cold, wet, snowy weather beautifully and I still have them. If I tried that with one I bought in the past 7/8 years or so, that would not be the case.Keep this bad boy in the house and don’t drop him. I also couldn’t beat this price. All in all, very pleased with this purchase.

Would have liked something a little heavier, but it will serve the purpose.

Would have liked the gargoyle made of a heavier material or has some weight in the base. Otherwise was perfect.

There was a beautiful story I found on Google about how Beelzebub fell in love with “M” but cannot seem to find it. It touched my Soul as Eternal love and Children are beautiful. I’ll meet them in person one day and cry at the truth. God Bless you all in their names!
