First, read the description very carefully and note that this is not 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton. In fact, it isn’t even 1500 thread count at all. It’s microfiber that FEELS LIKE 1500 TC Egyptian cotton. I was very disappointed that I did not notice this before I ordered, although the price should have given it away. I feel like it’s marketed a bit deceptively, especially at the title for the item.That said, I received my pillowcases today and they are very soft and look much more expensive than they were (thanks to that lovely braid embroidery). Everyone who is noting the odd cuff is noticing the fact that the flap is supposed to go over the pillow so that the pillow is completely hidden–sort of like a duvet. I have yet to wash them but anticipate no problems. If any problems arise, I will come and edit my review.

BRIGHT COLOR, EASY TO CARE AND SOFT!
I needed two extra pillow cases for my bed ensemble and wanted turquoise to offset the brown sheets I had and to match the bedspread. These pillow cases are perfect. They have embroidery on the edges and they also have that extra material inside that hides the pillow if you “unfold” it out. (I provided some photos) They are so soft and wash well and they don’t wrinkle even when you forget to take them out of the dryer right away! But seriously, they feel so good against my face when I’m sleeping I don’t want to get out of bed. The fabric is that new, ubiquitous microfiber that I have resigned to love, knowing it is here to stay in the linens world (bye bye cotton).

Same color ordered to go along with sheets & didn’t match
I ordered these King size pillow cases to go along with the same color choice, pistachio green, of the sheet set that I ordered from the same company on the same day. The sheet set got to me first but the pillow cases arrived a couple days later. It did not match the sheet set unfortunately so I’m returning them. I always keep two standard pillows and two king size on my bed and am dissatisfied about not being able to have them all match now. I’m afraid that if I was to order a new set of cases that I’d just be dealing with the same problem again. The sheets themselves are very good quality though. Material is soft, sturdy and a good fit on my mattress. Too bad I can’t have everything matching now though. I don’t know if they were from a different dye batch or what but it is disappointing.

Please note the misleading advertising. This is not Eqyptian anything. I had assumed “Egyptian Cotton” when the label indicated “Egyptian Quality”.This is plastic, not cotton.
