Our lids are made with real hardwood lids including Acacia and Rubberwood. Most lids are made of bamboo which are cheap and tough but not quite as rich, cozy or elegant as a real hardwood.
Our Canisters Are Large
We were tired of canisters that almost fit a bag of flour so we made these large enough to hold entire standard bags of flour, sugar and coffee, or whatever else you may use them for. Most of the canisters you will find on this site will be pretty small and you will be stuck with a half bag of flour always gathering dust in the back of your pantry.

Material — These are 33 gauge iron. They will hold up to any storage needs but they are not solid steel. They can be deformed with enough hand pressure.

Very cute!
Super cute! Sealed very well, I read other comments before ordering and they updated how they send them they are in a very thick box that actually took me a box cutter to open!

Farmhouse Fab
You’re going to love these canisters. When I saw the box, I thought I’d made a mistake. It looked too small to hold what I needed for a functional kitchen. Nope. I was wrong. The large canister holds a 5 lb bag of flour, the middle size canister holds a couple of pounds of sugar, and the smallest will easily hold a bag of powdered sugar. They’re sturdier than you might imagine and seal tightly. I put my goods in plastic bags regardless since the canisters are metal. They look absolutely fabulous with the pantry, and would work well with cottage, farmhouse, rustic, or old-world, or industrial designs.

Simple
Have been looking for update on canisters. These are simple and perfect. I use them for dog food, coffee and teabags.

Nice large size
I like this canister set. It’s difficult to find canisters large enough to hold 5# of flour or 4# of sugar and these will do that. The color works well in my kitchen and the wooden lids have a nice color and grain. The lids have a rubber ring to seal but don’t seal so tightly that they are hard to remove. I was surprised at how thin the metal is and that the inside is silver metal like a sheet of corrugated metal. They are thin and you wouldn’t want to squeeze them because it would dent. Overall, I think they are a good purchase and I will probably be buying a set as a gift in addition to the set I’m using.

I bought these for my dogs treats. But they would work well for flour and sugar too! The covers fit tight enough.

Cute, maybe not food grade
Doesn’t fit my idea of appropriate for food grade. The lid on one was a it loose and they seem like they would rust and they weren’t very smooth on the inside. They are very pretty, rustic, and large.
