Easy to Assemble, Easy to Use!
After pulling a towel hook out of the wall by accident because it turns out it was only anchored in drywall, not a stud, I needed a new solution to hang my towel with… and preferably one that did not involve creating new holes in the wall. This towel rack is perfect, as its sturdy oil-rubbed bronze tubing provides not only a place to hang one towel, but potentially up to five! It could also hold makeup bags, purses, clothing hangers, or anything else you might want to hang in the bathroom. My amazing boyfriend, Mark, assembled it for me quickly (it takes six included screws) and it fit perfectly when he hung it on the door. It does not make a notable difference in difficulty when you try to close the door, and even though it’s metal, there’s no banging sound when you open and close the door as this rack sits right up against it. It’s very sturdy and I have no complaints! On the average door, it will hang approximately 4’7” from the bottom of the lowest hook to the ground, so if you’re short like me or have small children, the lowest hooks work just as well for towel hanging as the upper rods do.
Galvanized –
It’s not designed for a shower enclosure, but can do the job.
We wanted this to hang over the lip of a glass shower enclosure so we could hang towels outside the shower. It’s really designed to go over the top of a wood door, not the narrower glass enclosure. But a few simple modifications made it work OK for our purpose. (Add self-adhesive rubber strips on the top hanger so it gets a grip on the top rim of the enclosure and add some suction cups to hold it to the glass, see the photos- you can get the suction cups and attachment straps at Amazon).

EXCELLENT Towel Rack!
Assembly? I wish I could give this MORE than five stars! I was starting to assemble it (unbagging etc) when a VERY important Internet Zoom conference started and I HAD to be there! I couldn’t just sweep the project aside, so I went online WHILE putting this rack together!The conference took an hour and a half. Assembling the rack took around fifteen to seventeen minutes! WOW!Cautions include… they give you the EXACT number of screws, so if you lose one, you’ll have to make a trip to your tool box or hardware store. Also the distance between the racks is such, and the position of the screw holes is such that you’ll need a SHORT handled screwdriver. Best choice, short ratchet driver with Phillips bit. And do the TOP bar first, then middle and then bottom, or your hand will be avoiding the bars as you attach each one.The rack is nice looking, and fits our bathroom door well. Of course we have it on the OUTSIDE face of the door because we never close it. If it’s on the inner door it can damage the wall when the door is moved.Still, it’s a very nice sturdy attractive towel rack.

This is just what you want, if you’re hanging the rack from your glass shower enclosure. Very easy to put together – you’ll want a smaller phillips head screwdriver for the job. I would say that two towels, placed on the top and bottom horizontal racks would be all you’d want to have, to ensure the towels dry out. If you try to put one on the middle rack, the three would lay against each other, and not dry properly. In the second picture, you can see that I put two felt cushions on the lower end of the vertical supports, so they wouldn’t bang against the glass. The third pic shows how you can insert securing bolts through the top bracket to secure the rack to the top shower frame to keep it steady. Otherwise, you’d need two hands to get a towel off and not have the rack want to pull off of the top shower frame. Pull the towel with one hand, and steady the rack with the other. It’s a small inconvenience. I’d recommend this to anyone.
