This needs to be assembled
This doesn’t come put together and there are a lot of pieces so plan to have some free time when you get it. It fits together okay but we had to use a mallet to hammer in some of the edge pieces. It looks so good and holds a lot of shoes, so it was worth the time we spent assembling it.

Finally, Organized！ So Easy to Put Together!
I’ve tried other shoe organizers that were wobbly and a nightmare to assemble, so I was cautiously optimistic about this one. I am thrilled to say it exceeded all my expectations!Easy Assemble: This was the biggest surprise. I had this entire unit built in under 15 minutes by myself. The pieces are lightweight and simply snap together. no complicated instructions, no frustration. It was almost like putting together a puzzle.Incredibly Stable: Once snapped into place, this unit is surprisingly sturdy and rigid. It doesn’t wobble side-to-side at all, even when I’m pulling out a pair of shoes from the middle shelf. The plastic feels high-quality and durable, not cheap or flimsy. I have it fully loaded with 20+ pairs of shoes, and it holds the weight with no problem.Good Look & Practical: The clean, white design is simple and looks great in my closet.

I’d leave zero stars if I could.The Good:• while the instructions are garbage, it’s fairly “easy” to put together. As in, the steps are easy to follow, actually putting the pieces together is another story• it looks fine enough, I suppose. It looks nothing like the photos (which is frustrating) but whateverThe Bad (literally everything else)• this thing is WOBBLY, it will not hold based on the structure. I had to put a rug in front of it to keep it from toppling over, the anti-tip device is absolute necessary for this thing, unfortunately• it’s also the cheapest plastic I’ve ever felt. It looks nothing like the pictures. I’d pay MAYBE 10 dollars for this thing. The only good thing about it is that I got it during the Black Friday sale• Good luck if you wear anything bigger than a Men’s 10 — it won’t fit in the space provided, you’ll have to flip them sideways• The storage space is less than ideal. Like I said, it doesn’t fit over a size 10. If you have a lot of shoes, go with something else. I have a very, very small amount of shoes, and I felt like what I was given isn’t enough.Overall, I would return this, if I cared enough to go with the whole process of dismantling and returning. It will just be ugly and sit in my garage, and do the things it’s meant to do, just in a very tipsy manner.

Conundrum between assembly and functionality
I’m stuck between horrible to assemble (1 star) , and liking the finished product (4 stars), so it get’s 3.Assembly:- Comes with extra pieces, because you’ll need them when the connectors break (several of them). Inevitably it will be on a lower level than the one you’re working on, or in the middle and a pain in the butt to replace the broken connector and get it to “snap in,” so expect some re-work and frustration. When I say broken I mean just that, the plastic is brittle and will literally snap and fly off.- You will soon come to the realization that you will never get all of the corners or sides of every connector snapped in, so you get as many as possible (still sturdy enough). Be advised this is not engineered to exacting tolerances.Once you get it together:Fits a lot of shoes, and I like that the front covers close (can fit 2 pairs in each cubicle if your shoe size is small-medium (up to mens 9 1/2-10 size). If you have big feet expect only one pair to fit per cubicle The closing “flip up” covers make the garage look cleaner than just having a bunch of open show racks.End of the day, pain in the butt to put together (think tinker toy but with connectors that break), but the conundrums that I like the finished product and the price is reasonable Hopefully no one will ever walk into this (not sturdy), cuz I’ll cry and be looking for where I put those extra connectors, but it does the job of un-clustering my garage.
