Strong suction
This clip is sturdy plastic and the suction is strong. Good for a quick hook or to use as a decorative holder. It was easy to install and easy to remove.

Does not stick, do not buy
After ‘installing’ it for the first time a regular white bathroom tile, it felt very firm and the suction seemed great. I couldn’t pull it off if I tried. Then, not 2 minutes later I heard it fall onto the sink. I thought, “What the heck? This thing felt like it was glued on when I initially put it up. I cleaned both the suction cup and the tile w/ alcohol and let it dry — didn’t work. I tried moistening the cup w/ water — didn’t work. Tried moistening it w/ saliva — didn’t work. Nothing work.It loses suction in minutes and falls off. It doesn’t feel cheaply designed or manufactured, but for whatever reason it simply does not maintain suction. COULD be an issue w/ my specific item, but that seems unlikely. It’s simply not a complicated enough device for that to be a reasonable explanation.I wouldn’t recommend this product at all. Stick (see what I did there?) with a traditional style toothbrush holder that rests on the surface of your sink or buy a suction style holder you’ve seen working properly in real life.TL;DR: Tried everything; did not stick to any of my bathroom surfaces.

So nice I bought it twice.
10/10 We travel a lot and I love to be organized. Everywhere has a mirror to hang this on even when there’s not a lot of space. In love that we have a sanitary place for our 2 toothbrushes! It works very nicely I’ve never had an issue with it falling off. The hooks work well with different toothbrushes. It works so well and doesn’t take up much room when transporting, that I bought another one for my kids for their cruise.

Great Product with Awful Packaging
The product is perfect, easy to install and holds two toothbrushes nicely. You will need a flat and non-porous surface to mount it; mine is mounted on a ceramic tile. The suction cup works nicely, but it seems to come lose after a month or two; not a big problem, all you do is remount it. But can’t give it 5 stars because of this. Now a comment about packaging; I left this on “packaging feedback” so I won’t let it affect my rating here. But it needs to be repeated here since it poses a real danger. The product is securely encased in a very heavy/thick plastic packaging (sealed all around), with just a slot for the toothbrush holder part to go thru; this makes it nearly impossible to get the product out intact. The plastic is so thick and sturdy that it is extremely difficult to open. Don’t use razor blades, a box cutter or a knife; they will not go thru the plastic and you’ll just end up cutting yourself. A normal scissors are also useless unless you have a very heavy-duty one. The best tool to get this open is a sheet metal shears. Hope you have one; otherwise BE VERY CAREFUL!

Half of it works
The suctioning worked correctly for a month or so and then one side started to slide down. It does not suction properly, one side not working.

Simple Solution to Toothbrush and Razor Storage
I’ve been using two of these for about 8 months and I’m very happy with them. Here’s how I’m using them: (1) I have one inside my medicine cabinet to hold two tooth brushes. The back of my medicine cabinet is a mirror and this attaches very well. It will also attach to the side which is a smooth metal surface. (2) The other one is in my shower to hold disposable razors. It attached firmly to the ceramic tile wall. The way it works: the “holder” part is hinged and flips up. With the holder flipped up (or down depending on how you’re positioning it), you press the suction cup against a surface. While holding it in place, flip the “holder” part down and it “grabs” the surface securely. If you bump the “holder” part, pushing it up, the suction will release and your holder will fall. This has only happened once in the shower. Finally, I really appreciate that it can be easily cleaned. The “cup style” toothbrush holders collect water & debris inside the cup part and are just a breeding ground for bacteria. This keeps the toothbrushes from touching each other and any drips fall to the surface below and can be wiped up quickly. I recommend washing the holder weekly. Just detach it from the wall and rinse it under warm water. Dry it well – suction cup doesn’t work well if it is wet. Then reattach it to your surface.

so glad that i did
After reading so many negative reviews about how the bar doesn’t stick to anything…i was a little reluctant to purchase…but decided to plow ahead and buy it anyway. so glad that i did! the bar stuck to my tiles in my bathroom…no problem. if you follow the following advice…your towel bar will stick well and not move at all. (i could barely budge it to reposition it!)DO NOT PUT A LOT OF WATER IN THE SUCTION CUP AREA WHEN YOU STICK IT TO THE TILES OR GLASS. place a drop of water in the cup and swish it around to cover the cup. the cup should NOT be wringing wet. then push the cup onto the tiles and press hard while pushing down the bar to lock in place. i think people were putting too much water in the suction cup and that’s why it wasn’t sticking and was sliding down. i ordered two of these…and both work great!!! my tiles are not shiny…they are matte finished…and the bar worked fine.the only negative i have is that the bar could be a little wider. a washcloth does NOT fit across the bar…it has to be folded in half…which doesn’t allow it to dry thoroughly between use. i found, however, that if i wring the cloth out and then just put one corner over the bar…the washcloth dries fine.

Too narrow for most modern razor heads

Will lose suction if surface is not perfectly clean or too moist, but that’s a given with suction cups. Although once it’s on there, it’s on there!

Good, hard to get to stick on “just right”. It takes a fair amount of determination to get this to mount to your shower wall well. Once you get it on, it’s great and it doesn’t fall. But if you don’t you’ll find it on the floor of your shower the next time you get in.
