Great product, but reconsider if hardwiring to code
It’s a great product for the money. This is our second one as we were pleased with the first smaller version which has been working well for the last year. The ‘hardwire’ option is a bit of a joke though. I don’t like how I have to look at the plug and wire on our first unit, so I’d hoped to hardwire this unit and keep the cabling hidden. I expected to see a provision to run standard 14ga romex into the the unit – instead the manual instructs you to cut the plug off, strip the wires and use that as your hardwired option. The power wire is garden variety 2 wire indoor extension cord (no ground), contrary to what’s illustrated in the manual. Code doesn’t permit you to run this kind of cable behind walls. The power box simply isn’t designed to accept proper hardwiring.Instead I’ll install an outlet behind the mirror and just plug it in, keeping the plug and cable out of sight. There’s plenty of space behind the glass that will allow the plug and wire to stay hidden, but also lay flush with the wall.

Packaged very well. Easy to install. I hard wired it since I didn’t want to add an outlet. The different light settings are great.

Lighting controls could be better
This lighted mirror does what it says but it could be better. The glass is clear and reflects without distortion. The lighting has dimmable LED’s which work ok but could be better. When changing intensity, simply press and hold the icon as instructed. The issue I have is when dimming, the lighting will go to its lowest setting and then brighten back up again slightly before stopping. I don’t seem to notice a slight dimming when trying to set to the brightest setting, just on the lowest setting. This mirror would be 5 stars if you could have better control over the dimming function. And you cannot press and quickly release the icon to step the lighting brighter or dimmer as this action will turn the light on and off and change the lighting color. I have not used the anti-fogging feature as I have a fairly large bathroom. The 60” mirror I bought can be mounted horizontally and vertically. Good mirror but should have better controls for the price paid.
