This is the one to get
This solar fountain is great – it really fountains! The birds have been frolicking in it non stop since I set it up. Frolicking I say! And it could barely be called set up. You put this fountain in sunshine & it goes to town fountaining! It came with 7, SEVEN! attachments so you can choose from a variety of fountainage. The fountaination can be controlled from low to high too. Amazon is asking about the battery power but who cares?? This baby is solar powered and is very sensitive to light. It fountains away in direct sunlight and still fountains softly if a cloud passes over. But it is solar so fountaination does pause in shade. But I didn’t want to deal with cords way out in my garden so I’m perfectly happy with the fountulation of this solar fountain. Suction is strong and the filter has kept debris out for reliable fountaining. So get this solar fountain for your backyard fountaineering.

Effortless way to put a small fountain in your pond!
This little fountain is very neat. It doesn’t look like much, but as soon as we got it out of the packaging into the light, it started vibrating, and when we put it in our pond it immediately began to work. It’s such a cute addition, and I love how easy it assembled and how it came to life in the sun. the fountain is quite high on it, and that it shuts off without light. In the sun, it’s a little powerhouse and a really sweet addition to a pond or birdbath. The material is durable and has held up to floating around our rocky pond with no issues, and even in slightly mucky water, the suction power of this is excellent.

Functional but fragile
Firstly, this was super easy to put together, I had it running in just minutes after unboxing it. It did exactly what it was supposed to, and I was actually really surprised at how nicely it worked. I used it in multiple bird baths of different sizes and it was a winner all around, birds loved it. I also found that it did work in partial shade. Obviously not a full constant stream, but enough for animals to enjoy it, and to keep water mobile to prevent mosquito breeding.Unfortunately, I had some kind of animal really determined to destroy it. I kept finding the fountain flipped over and then one day, the bottom foam part which keeps it floating had been totally chomped to bits.For a pretty cheap little fountain, I don’t think it’s unreasonable for it to get demolished by wildlife with strong opinions, and it is still even floating a bit and pumping water. I deducted the single star purely because if you are looking for something very durable, this is probably a bit on the fragile side. That said, I’m still very happy with the used I’ve gotten out of it.

Sweet little fountains powered by the Sun
I bought a couple of these this summer to put in bird baths and other whimsical containers. They really add a lovely visual to the bath, and the dancing water definitely attracts birds to bathe and sip. If you have a very shallow bath (as most bird baths are), you have to refill the bath often so that the little motor does not burn out. Deeper containers will help you avoid having to do the daily refill. These little fountains can bring a lot of peace and joy to those who love the gentle sound of water.

This works great and was super easy to assemble and start using. It was a fun addition to my summer deck decor. I like the various tips to change the height and width of the water spray. I put it in a medium sized pot and it was perfect. Easy to disassemble so I can use it again next year.

Decent choice for the price and the performance
PROS: o Affordable o Good spray in direct sun, shadows quickly diminish the performanceCONS: o These seem to only last a season or twoCan’t say that I really expect these to last a lifetime, but it sure would be nice if one could get 4 or 5 years instead of 1 or 2. Decent spray (maybe 8″ high with multi-jet nozzle). Can’t really complain, makes a nice “feature” without being too spendy.

Works great for what I needed it for
Definitely a little bit of a learning curve here. So first of all, the fountain is solar powered- This does NOT mean that it charges in the sun and then works till the charge runs out– it means it is ONLY ON when the SUN IS OUT. Overcast days, it sputters. So I do think it works great for what I need it for (decoration in a flower pot on my front porch) but I understand it wouldn’t be ideal for some other applications, or if you wanted to put it in a slightly shady area. The water flow options are very good, however, if it’s windy out and you are using a tall spraying nozzle, the water can be removed pretty quickly- I came back to my home about 3 hours later and all the water was out of my medium sized pot! The fountain feels durable and well-made, and I love the fact that where the water is suctioned, there is a filter that seems to work well.
