It’s perfect in every way, and 100% SILENT!
So my house flooded this year. When we remodeled, we redecorated, so my old clock just didn’t match the new decor. I searched ENDLESSLY for something that blended a vintage feel with modern vibe AND had a white- washed wood tone. I am so glad I found this. I was even happier it didn’t seem like a cheap, Chinese quality. This is a well- made, sturdy clock that keeps time very well and looks amazing while doing it! And yes, the markings are all actually engraved, not simply printed to look engraved.My wall space is about 38″ (even though you can’t tell in the photo due to the curtains) and this clock fits perfectly there. I get a ton of compliments when guests come by. It’s large enough to be noticed and easily read from anywhere on the first floor. It’s a statement piece that feels like something you’d see in a design magazine.Yes, the clock hands are SUPER delicate so be sure they’re pressed down to the gears carefully. If they were made of sturdier material, they’d be heavier and need a more expensive gear box to turn the hands and keep time, but this is a great price for a wall clock this decorative, so I can’t complain. Once it’s on the wall you likely won’t be touching it much, so it should be safe. Just gently dust around the hands.I would recommend placing tiny felt pads behind the metal legs on the back though. It can scratch your walls easily, especially as you take it up and down to change the time or the batteries over the years. If you have to pack the clock to move, just put some Styrofoam or cardboard under the hands or remove them altogether and store them flat in a box to reassemble later.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! CLOCK LOOKS FANTASTIC
Poorly made! Attached top ring part to the clock…which took forever due to not enough space to screw it in. Hung clock by round ring which immediately broke off and clock fell to the floor. First time I have ever seen a 6 upside down on a clock…looks like a 9 instead. Would not recommend this clock – especially for the amount you pay for it.***EDIT – UPDATE*** The seller immediately contacted me regarding my dissatisfaction. Wow what fantastic customer service and the importance of them wanting to rectify the problem. They immediately sent a new clock which contained quality parts. Clock is now hung and looks fantastic!! I HIGHLY recommend purchasing anything from this company! Thank you for caring so much.

UPDATE:as previously stated this clock is gorgeous. I couldn’t reach the seller through their website, however my 1 star review got them to reach out to me. They have agreed with my request.My suggestion for them is to get a better quality mechanism.I’m satisfied with the resolution of this seller so I have revised my rating and review.Original review;I read several reviews of this clock quitting after just a couple of months. Yup, it’s happened to mine. I’ve switched the battery, was just not keeping the correct time. Now it’s totally dead. CheapTried to contact seller, their website doesn’t go through. Humm

Terrible craftsmanship
Awful, the numbers do not match up with the metal markers on the circular frame; contacted Amazon, a big hassle to return; very disappointed and one pricey lesson. The clock itself is beautiful BUT terrible craftsmanship!

Stopped working
Although I originally loved the concept of this clock (and it matched our decor perfectly), it has significant flaws. First, it is almost impossible to read the time on it. We had ours hung on a white wall and it was so difficult to read where the black hands were. So, it has basically just been a decoration from the beginning. Then, after a year it completely stopped working. Very disappointing considering how expensive it was. Save yourself the headaches and find a different option.

I love clocks. Putting together a clock wall in a recently purchased house. Using this clock as the centerpiece. Gorgeous, perfect size and keeps perfect time. Only complaint was hanging was a challenge as the hook on the back is small.
