Plastic clock, nice from a distance
It’s a nice enough looking clock from a distance. I didn’t pay attention to what it was made of, which is my fault, and why I gave it 4 stars. It is plastic. It definitely looks plastic. From a distance it works. I have it on my built-in, debating whether or not to keep it .

Easy to read clock face
Even though this clock is plastic, it looks like wood and fits perfectly on my mantle. It also keeps perfect time. Nice clock and a good value for the money.

Battery instructions are not included.
The clock does not come with directions. I had to go online to Amazon where there were directions.Opening the back of the clock was difficult. I inserted a AA battery. Clock didn’t work. I reversed the battery direction. Then the clock began ticking.The clock looks good and works now.It should come with directions.

I’m in love with my new clock. It had to be special because it was replacing one my mum bought for me, that ironically stop this year just before she died! I searched high and low to find a mantel clock that would compliment my simple but elegant style… I didn’t even mind waiting for it to arrive from the States.Highly recommend.
