Off gas smell; good quality
I know this is natural grass or whatever but for weeks they had a terrible smell. Over time it goes away, but do not buy these if you intend to use them immediately. Let them air out for a week or two or your guests will be smelling nothing but the placemats.

I absolutely love these! They do have an earthy smell which I don’t mind. They’re the perfect size to put under dishes. I even use them under pots when serving dinner. They’re easy to clean, I just rinse them off. Definitely worth it.

These were my favorite touch to my Thanksgiving spread. I absolutely loved how these made my fancy plastic dinnerware pop. I was nervous because you always run the risk of an Amazon cheapo situation, but this one turned out to be good quality and didn’t compromise the final look I was going for.

I like the thickness of these placemats. And they looked really nice. However, they are rather small . I found that the straw was constantly coming off so it was kind of a messy placemat. I gave them away after having for a few months.
