Class and Sophistication!
These RYB HOME Velvet Blackout Curtains are absolutely stunning! I’ve now purchased five sets to use throughout two of my homes, and I couldn’t be happier. The velvet is soft, high-quality, and hangs beautifully. The colors are deep and rich—exactly what I was hoping for to add that perfect touch of luxury to each room. They not only look elegant but also do a great job blocking out light. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to elevate their space with a bit of class and sophistication!

These are perfect curtains.
I have sewn and purchased countless curtains/ drapes in my life. These are simply outstanding, I now have them in every bedroom in my home. The blackout is actual blackout, NO light comes through. The curtains are lined SO nicely, weighted at the bottom. The fabric is rich and luxurious, no chintzy feeling velour-ish texture, these are full on luxe velvet. I purchased the Olive Green and it is the PERFECT shade of green- not too blue, not too emerald, not too yellow. The width is cut generously and is incredibly elegant on my 36″ wide windows (I use two on each window and set them back nicely to give the whole window a nice grand look). I used curtain pins at the top and hung these on rings to match my curtain rod.I’ve purchased these before in other colors and have (obviously) been consistently impressed. The colors and fabric are rich and expensive in a way that most others aren’t. I get it, you can find others on this site for less money- the problem is, they look like they cost less. These are an incredible value for the quality.

Very nice look and feel
These curtains are great. They feel and look like quality drapes. The only thing not so great is the tabs on the back. They are a collection of threads rather than typical material tabs. This part seems pretty flimsy – I can easily see them breaking with general use in pulling the curtains open/closed. For that reason they don’t get 5 stars. Overall I’m very pleased with them though.

Beautiful curtains
These are beautiful! Well constructed. I also used curtain rings and pleat hooks. Love the look and fabric. On prime day they were an incredible value as I ordered the 102 in length. I am not using them necessarily for light blocking but more for framing a very wide window and aesthetics in my spa room. However, they do seem to block light well. Easy to hang – love the options for hanging.

I usually don’t like velvet because it gets those weird darker/lighter areas, but this one doesn’t. Beautiful material, it has a nice soft texture. The picture doesn’t quite do the color justice, but it is quite a beautiful light green. They feel more expensive than they are.As soon as we installed them, we felt the immediate change in temperature due to the light blocking. It was sooo nice and cool. I will say they’re not quite blackout in my opinion, but they’re dark indeed, so that’s nice.Not sure how the material would hold in the wash. I’d be afraid it would lose the fluffliness. Maybe spot clean only.

So i took a chance and bought the olive green curtains (84”) to reupholster my bed and I’m so glad i did. It looks much better in person. I was very impressed with the curtains and will be buying some for my living room. They have a nice weight to them and they already have a pleat tape (i think that’s what it’s called) sewn in them! I highly recommend
