A little smaller than I anticipated but I didn’t measure 42 inches so honestly that’s on me lol but a good product overall. Sturdy, holds my bird feeder, lightweight metal, and overall works good only thing I disliked was that the pole is a tiny bit bent but nothing noticeable it also could have been the way I screwed the poles together

Cheaply made
Extremely flimsy and had a hole at the end of Shepard’s hook so water can get in. The stakes at the bottom do not line correctly and move around. Also I ordered the 42 inch and confirmed it was the 42 inch but when measured it was only 36 inches.

Poor quality, not sturdy
Poor quality and very flimsy. Won’t say it’s totally useless because the tube was okay to hold light weight. But the prongs at the bottom were so thin that they easily bent when pushing down into the soil (see the picture). It could not stay upright with such a weak hold. So, unless to be used in soft soil, don’t get this one. Buy a more sturdy one.

Great shepherd hook
Very good and sturdy hook. This one is too short to fit my balcony. So I will be gifting this one to a neighbor and I will get the next size up. Very Easy to assemble and the good thing it just screws on without needing any tools.Great price as well!

Only for lightweight items
This can only be used for extremely light weight items. My hummingbird feeder caused this to bend. It wouldn’t hold it up.
