A winner! Sturdy and simple design.
I began assembling this at 7:05 am and was finished by 7:30 am. I did not use the included mallet, I just used the palm of my hand to seat the wood into the plastic connectors. I laid out all of the pieces and built it from the ground up. I deviated a bit from the included instructions and I believe that saved me some time. I have read the one-star reviews on this but I did not encounter any of the issues stated in those reviews. The key is to initially fit the plastic connectors being careful to align them with the wood. If you take care to do that, the connectors will not break. They are snug but that is by design.I did alter the shelves so they are not all front to back or side to side as you can see in the image. It depends on what you plan to put on the shelves.Another comment from the negative reviews was regarding splinters. I did not have any issues with splinters. The wood pieces did have some slight warping and that made it slightly challenging to align the vertical pieces. This is to be expected with small cuts of this type of wood. In my opinion, this is actually beneficial as it seems to add to the stability of the entire assembly.Overall, this is a very nice product and assembles easily. I have always been good at these types of projects but anyone can assemble this. It may take longer for some, especially if you are not accustomed to doing these types of projects. The included accessories were an added bonus.I would recommend this to others as it is a very nice addition to an office or living room. It is inexpensive but does not feel cheap when fully assembled. This may not be for everyone and that’s ok. For my purposes, it more than satisfied what I wanted to accomplish.

Serves The Purpose For Which It Was Bought
I received this today. I put it together simply by looking at the instructions. Took me about 45 minutes as I wasn’t in any hurry. My ferns look great on top of this stand (had to bring them inside, because its getting chilly outside). Not sure, if I will keep these on top or leave them on the side and just fill up the empty spaces with more plants and books. I don’t have any negatives concerning this stand. Positives: easy to assemble, received spare parts, sturdy and tall enough to serve the purpose for which i bought it (keep my cats away from my ferns, although my ferns are cat friendly), easy to move, fits easily in small spaces and looks good. Would recommend.

Perfect in the greenhouse and in the home.
Easy to assemble and configure any way that suits you. I emptied my greenhouse and brought all of my succulents into the basement where these were set up with grow lights, a heater and fan for a safe and successful winter season. So sturdy and attractive. easily holds any type of light fixture. I assembled mine to be wide, rather than tall since my basement has a low ceiling.

Cute addition to the room and decently priced
Giving this a 4 star only because the quality of the wood and it wasn’t sanded down to prevent splinters. This was an easy project that my 5 and under kids got to enjoy building with me. It’s extremely light and could hold some weight. One thing I would change is having more height on the bottom two shelves so I could put my heavier plants at the bottom – they’re too tall for that placement but would help with the stability. I recommend using gloves when putting it together because our hands were pretty stained afterwards. I love that it came with extra pieces given the need to hammer the corners to make sure the pieces are secure. Overall I like it and it’s a cute addition.

Easy to assembly and in my opinion, very sturdy. Would definitely buy it again and I plan on getting another one for more plants. Also, it came with a little hammer that was actually very handy to use even after the project was assembled. I used it for other things as well, so that was a plus for me also.

Perfect plant stand
I have started to acquire many indoor plants and I’m so glad most can go outside during the summer as I don’t have tons of light in my apartment. I bought this as it’s starting to cool down in Chicago and I don’t want to get frost to kill my plants. I bought this stand and it’s awesome. It did take me about two hours to assemble but the directions were easy to follow, they included instructions, a few extra pieces in case something was not right, and also so small garden tools. I like that if I choose to move this should be easy to take apart. This product is also cool because you can definitely use your imagination at kinda move the pieces if your plants are to large. I absolutely love this product.

Well worth getting and very affordable
Very pleased with this unit! It’s much sturdier than expected and holds a lot of my starter plants as well as a few mature ones. I have clear plastic container bottoms on each shelf to hold my little plants so they won’t tip with wood slates. It took me about 45 min to put together. It was very easy. Keep all parts organized and in sections and it will be a breeze to find what you need. The lights came separately and fit perfect!

Plant stand
It looks great in my spare bedroom and has 12 areas for plants. it’s less than 4 feet wide, and fits in front of a double window very well. If you need something to hold large plants, this probably is not your stand to use but for small to medium size plants it is great. I can fit two small plants on one shelf and I have one plant that’s about 20 inches tall and that’s on my bottom shelf because there’s plenty of room for it. I could even put a hanging basket from the top shelf down with a small plant in it. It is very lightweight. it was very easy to move and assembly was quite simple. Just follow the instructions. He use a rubber mallet or the hammer they provide to make sure that all the edges are fit together correctly.
