I love these sconces. I think they are elegant. Very easy to assemble. you will need a metric ruler or convert yours. Real glass rods drop through holes in the center mount. The rods and tubes are kept in place by rubber O rings that are slid to the proper place. I think you could adjust the tapering effect if you wished. Mounting plate has many holes and slots for any particular mounting issues. Horizontal even.They come with 2 candelabra base incandescent bulbs of 40w. The fixture is rated at 40w but i think an LED bulb could be substituted to achieve higher brightness. LED’s solve the heat problem of incandescent.There are no electronics at all, just direct wiring to the bulbs. I put mine on dimmers to achieve a beautiful soft glow. For me they were the perfect bedroom light.

Results are good, but…
First the bad:I ruined 4 good drill bits enlarging the punched holes in the stainless adapter for the box. they were the only holes that lined up with the preexisting old work box. Some kind of stainless that instantly hardened when I tried to drill it with a good drill and cutting oil. No grounding screw was provided. Had to salvage one from the previous installation. They only provided cheap ass incandescent bulbs that I found to be too bright for an entryway. I settled on 4.9w 2700 k 300 lumen LEDs that I had on hand. Even those may be too bright. The hot wire is called the fire wire. Screws “E” are not labelled. No biggie. What they call glue rings also called rubber bands, are actually silicon O-rings. They seem very suitable for securing the rods in place. The “iron” rods are actually aluminum which is good. No biggie.The good: They actually provide an extra glass rod of each length with each light fixture plus and extra silicon O-ring. The fixtures look quite good once installed. A bit of Art Deco. I’m satisfied with them.

For the price, this sconce is excellent value for money stylish, durable, and highly functional for a variety of rooms.

Grandma.
I like the light, I don’t love it but I like it. It bends between hotel room and outer space vibe, but feels a little “older” to me, like for an older crowd. Quality wise, it’s just fine and it looks nice..but it has a specific not universal feel to it. I think it’s a good value and will hold up without a problem.
