My favorite purchase this year!!
I was hesitant about ordering a runner rug. The reviews on this particular rug were varied.I am so pleased I took a chance on this one.Some reviews claimed rug was poor quality, thin and had bare spots. I find this rug to be full, fluffy and very soft.I have no complaints. My rug fluffed up perfectly right out of the package. No weird smells or creases from packaging.I bought a grey rug to use as a runner beside my bed. The color is exactly a the color I expected.The size is exactly what I was looking for and it looks great in my room.

I wanted to love this rug because it has the most beautiful color. The Orange is vibrant and beautiful. My problem with this rug is the quality and as usual you get what you pay for. It’s a very affordable price but I wound up throwing it away. The problem is in the fibers themselves. It’s so weird because anything that gets on the rug whether it be a crumb or dirt or anything that it might be is almost impossible to get back up. Things seem to get lost or stuck down in the fibers and very difficult to shake out or vacuum. Very odd as I’ve never had this happen with other Shag rugs. After the orange one I tried it in black and same thing happened. Even though these are a great deal I don’t recommend. I did try washing the orange rug but it wound up coming matted and I threw it away

Useful and Reasonably Attractive
House and Gardens is not going to call you to do a photo shoot of this rug in your home. Whoever said it was more like a blanket than a rug, hit the “nail on the head” in their description. That being said, I’m using it as a floor covering to keep my dogs off of my floors, and it has been placed in an appropriate place, high traffic doorway. It is not bad looking at all… and, unless you get on the floor and examine it, you’ll have no idea that it’s really pretty thin. The looks are deceiving. It is surprisingly sturdy. It looks fine, even pleasing. My floors are protected from all that nail clicking that was driving me bonkers (3 dogs). It would make a great children’s tent flooring, or play area and would look reasonably good as a rug where you know it would be futile to put an expensive version. Personally, in my financial bracket… it serves it’s purpose and looks great so far… about two weeks now… teenagers in big sneakers and dogs haven’t hurt it a all. Shakes out well and still looks new. It comes very compactly (air sucked out of the bag) packaged. It sort of expands and develops a much better look in a few days… Looks thicker than it is. Good investment when you have a spot you don’t really want the rug to last a lifetime protecting. Price is great and considering you don’t have to drive all over the place to find it, makes it all the better. Very functional. Happy with my purchase. Color was spot on (green).
