Don’t listen to the bad reviews
I didn’t listen to the bad reviews and I’m glad I didn’t. These are perfect. I think they may have updated their packaging. There’s no way to get them tangled unless it’s user error. They’re beautiful and fit perfect in my big living room window! I love the different lighting settings and even with my blinds closed, the light still shines through to the outside! Very easy to hang up, plus you get a remote.

Beautiful Lights and Easy to put up
Lovely. Stunning. Even my husband liked it. It gives a room a little extra without it trying too hard. Only took us about 15 to install hooks (bought separately) and drape the lights. Different modes to help with setting the mood. Remote gives several options. The quality of the lights are outstanding. Not too bright or too dim. It also wasn’t a nightmare to untangle the lights from its rolled up packed status. Highly recommend these lights.

Nice curtain lights. The trickiest part is unwinding the strands. Had multiple settings. Would give 5 stars if unwinding strands was easier.

Cheap and unsafe
I hung these up and they were so pretty I was excited! And then the next day I went to turn them on and they wouldn’t turn on. I checked that they were plugged in and the wired just completely fell out of the wall plug part! How cheaply made! I’m glad it didn’t start an electric fire. Don’t waste your money on these.

I will echo comments from others. This is a good product, reasonably priced. The electric cord is thick for outdoor use. Packaging was good—bulbs come protected in Styrofoam; none was broken, all worked and 4 extras were included. Bulbs are clear and incandescent. Note that these are 5-watt bulbs. A string of 100 provides soft illumination for a 25 x 25’ area, enough to eat by but not read a book. You cannot combine strings because there’s no female receptacle at the end. If unsure whether 50 feet is sufficient, go with 100 feet because more illumination is better than too little.Some specific suggestions:1. Plan in advance how you want to arrange the lights. Creating equal triangles overhead provides more even illumination than perimeter lights. Hang at a height which allows you to replace bulbs easily.2. If spanning a long distance, install a guide wire first and then hook the string of lights onto it. That way the guide wire carries the weight, not the electrified string, and sagging is minimized. Use galvanized steel wire or stainless steel cable.3. Hang the string FIRST before putting bulbs in. That gives you the chance to adjust the lengths and move hardware (eye hooks and J hooks) without jostling the bulbs. Orient the fixtures downward to keep out rain.4. Wear rubber gloves (Playtex) when installing bulbs so you have a good grip. This is the most delicate part of the process so take your time and screw in snugly but not tight; bulbs are delicate.5. Only then should you power up the string. If a bulb does not illuminate, try another bulb; that solved the issue for six of mine that didn’t work initially. If bulbs still don’t work, lift the copper contacts on the inside of the fixture ever so slightly.

I love these lights. They’re a better quality than the more flimsy fairy lights. They hang straight, and look classy. I have them hanging between the blinds and sheer curtains so my kitty can’t trash them like she did the last set. I plan on getting a second set to fill in the gaps a little, as there is a fair amount of space between strings. They don’t come with hooks to stick on the wall, so I used push pins, which are easy to use on drywall. The little hooks on the curtain lights hang on the push pins sturdily. The push pins also won’t leave big holes behind, so a bonus. I hope mine lasts as long as some others have stated in their reviews.

I ordered 2 sets of these and the result is outstanding. They were relatively easy to hang (with a hanging kit) especially with the integrated clips. We had one person on the ladder and another screwing in the light bulbs to make it even easier. Out of 200 bulbs only one didn’t work and the extra spares are appreciated. I have had one bulb burn out after some rain…so I’m hoping this won’t be an issue going forward.But overall and very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone thinking of adding lights to their backyard/patio.

Easy to install, attach the bulb after setting up the wire it will make your life a lot easier to avoid potential damage and easier to adjust when needed. Great and bright light to my backyard. Bought 100 ft around the fence and added another 25 to cover my pergola.

Soooo freaking cute!!!!easy to assemble just a little difficult to untangle lol. Comes with a remote that already has batteries.. very good. You can control the brightness, the flash speed, or no flash, and on and off.

very good. the only thing is that for me the remote, the plastic cover on the remote that is sealed on wasent equal it kept lifting. the light are beautiful even on the wall and not curtains. i recomend.
