Great deal for a great product
We love these. They are SO EASY to use and I love that my young kids can figure out how to make them work on their own. I also love that they take a reasonable type and number of batteries (Not always the case with lanterns) and that batteries are included (not often the case with anything anymore!). My only complaint would be that they are almost TOO BRIGHT, but you can keep them down to a lower setting. This set is a great bang for your buck for camping or power outages. Highly recommend.

Does the job, but needs a light diffuser to be good
Bought for use during power outages. These are sturdy, battery powered, and do the job of lighting a room.Our biggest complaint is that without a diffusion (frosted) layer anywhere, the LEDs are too directional, creating mottled lighting and being incredibly bright in peopleβs eyes. In the short term we took to putting them behind objects but these would be 2x better if they were βfrostedβ instead of clear.I tried seeing if ai could make a modification to do this by myself, but the inside isnβt accessible (at least, not by normal measures like screws), and the water resistance doesnβt give enough clearance to modify the outside of the βglassβ, so Iβve had to resort to pretty janky measures to introduce some light diffusion, like putting a bag over the top of it or taping things to it.I still have this four stars because it otherwise does the job and the price was good. Things that work better seem to be 4x or more the price, and we needed several lamps so multiple family members could have light sources.

Lightweight bright lantern for power outages or camping!
These little lanterns are the best! They are small and easy to store. The LED light is bright and lights up most of the room. I have several — and have actually bought more to give as gifts. Everyone has loved them as much as I do!
