I think I finally found a winner!
On Prime day, most people purchase the electronics they have been longing for… I bought a bath mat… LOL. This is my third try, and I think I finally found a winner! Attempt #1 had no suction cups to hurt one’s feet – the bottom was rubbery to cause friction to keep it from slipping, and had a brillo-pad looking material on top. It super-comfy on the feet, as I was aiming for, but clung to hair like you wouldn’t believe, so I was constantly picking it off. I’m sure that plastic mesh was starting to grow mold/mildew that just couldn’t be seen. Attempt 2 had suction cups and a foamy grid-like material that looked like it would still be comfy on the feet – It wasn’t all that comfy, and although hair clung to it, I could at least brush it off with my feet with the flow of the water. But I still had to pick a good amount of hair off of multiple spots, and over time, the cushy foam-like material started to tear, and mold/mildew liked to grow on it. It was in need of replacement, so I decided to look for something with more solid construction. This bath mat was attempt #3, and although we’ve only been using it a couple of weeks, I’m pretty sure I found a keeper! The suction cups don’t feel hard under my feet, and hair and dirt seems to mostly slide off of it or under it and down to the drain. As I finish my shower, I pull it up, rinse it, and hang it to dry. In two weeks I’ve only had to pick off one piece of hair that had wrapped around one of the holes (half on top and half on the bottom of the mat). You know you are officially an adult when you are this excited about… a bath mat? LOL

Excellent bathtub mat!
A solid, reliable, long lasting bathtub mat. Yes. It is a little pricey, but it doesn’t fall apart over time. It grips well on the tub surface and provides excellent security against slips and falls. Do note, as with other tub mats, keeping it clean is difficult. Gorilla recommends pulling it up, rinsing it, and hanging it to dry after each use. No doubt that will help, but that’s a fair amount of work. We typically through it in the washer now and then, which helps keep it acceptably clean. In the end, it will eventually yellow, but keeps its grip and doesn’t fall apart like many others. This is our second purchase and we remain very pleased. I’ve had good luck with Gorilla products!

Worth the price
This is honestly the best shower mat I‘ve ever owned. I don’t know if it’s the shape of my tub or the finish, but mats (no matter the texture, build, and material, including ones claiming to have the “latest in non-slip technology”) always start to give way with the slightest bit of standing water. This one feels like it instantly bonded to the tub and it hasn’t wrinkled or even budged a centimeter in the year I’ve been using it, except when I purposely peel it up to clean it.

Good grip, but slippery when wet!
After reading many of the reviews for this mat, I was sold. Though it’s bit smaller all around than my previous large bath liner, what I like most about the Gorilla Grip mat is that the suction cups are molded to the mat. My previous mat had suction cups at, were inserted in small holes in the back of the mat, allowing them to pop out over time, reducing its grip effect. This mat also has plenty of drainage holes, allowing suds and water to sluice away efficiently. What surprised me about this mat is how slick it is. I’m young and fit, but I’m now taking showers with great trepidation, as if I were a feeble 90-year-old with hip and knee replacements. I washed and soaked the mat before using, hoping it would help flatten it out and also get rid of the slippery texture. But after rinsing with enough water to single-handedly bring on the next California drought, it’s still doesn’t have an entirely secure, non-slip surface when wet. Which kind of negates its purpose. I’m going to try scrubbing it with a bleach-free scouring powder like Bar Keeper’s Friend, hoping to rough up the surface enough so it’s no longer so slick. Other than that major drawback, it does what it says, and when placed with all the suction cups securely pushed down and attached to the bottom of the tub, it stays put, while being easy enough to remove to allow for drying between uses. I only wish the surface allowed for an equally secure grip underfoot.Had a laugh at the cleaning instructions which advise not washing the mat in hot water. While most of us probably don’t shower/bathe in scalding water, it still seems like an odd water temp restriction for a bath/shower mat.

Comfortable, secure, looks good!
Grips work very well for making a not slip surface. I’ve had it for just over two months and use it weekly for washing my dog in the tub. After each use I hang it on the wall on 2 3lb Command Strips that securely hold it and allow it to dry out fully. Mat does not slip around at all, still looks great, and pulls up/un-pops easily as needed. Really like the clear. I had previously tried a clear of another brand that appeared more blue and not as aesthetically pleasing or as secure as the Gorilla Grip mat.

Nice in-tub slip/
Very nice on the feet when you shower and the suction cups on the other side help keep it in place. I do recommend clearing out any ‘shed’ hairs after you shower just to keep the drain and edges of the mat clear otherwise you’ll start to have water that doesn’t drain properly but that’s an easy fix on your way out of the shower/tub stall. Good thickness, doesn’t hurt your feet to stand on, and as long as you don’t let hair collect it dries quickly.

No more slipping
This is for a secondary tub. I haven’t used it yet but it fits great and looks really nice. It has a nice rough texture but not too rough. My tub was so slippery I nearly fell yesterday so this is going to be a plus for me. It goes really nicely with my decor too. I highly recommend this tub mat. It’s a great value.

Safe, Cushy Upgrade for a Slippery Shower
I bought the GORILLA GRIP Patented Bath Tub Shower Mat because I had a visitor and wanted to be sure he was safe in the shower. This absolutely did the trick. The suction cups kept it firmly in place, so there was no slipping or shifting, even on a smooth tub surface. It was also surprisingly cushy underfoot, which made it more comfortable than the usual thin, rubbery mats. Solid grip, soft feel, and easy peace of mind.

I got this for my aunty who is 70. She had a stroke and can lose her balance, this just helps prevent her slipping in her shower. Great quality.

It works perfectly I like the longer length and also you can pop into the washer. It stays perfectly in place and takes away the fear of slipping. It just does what it says. Really impressed
