I had no trouble getting it open, unrolled and ready to go!Let’s face. As we get older we need a little help sometimes! This bath mat is very easy to put in tub, position and listen to the “pop pop pop” of the bubbles as you press the matt to the bath tub.The mat is not too thin or to thick. When I step into the mat, either before the mat gets wet and also when it is dry, I can feel the texture under my feet. “So far, so good” right? Yup, you betcha. Did theat move when I stepped on while getting in the shower? Nope, that mat atayed right where it was placed and it wasn’t going to move.The mat covers the bottom of the bath tub completely. It is very easy to clean. Pull it up and put, flip it over, wipe down both sides and 💥BOOM💥 you’re done. The mat is absolutely worth the price. Also, if you have kids and the squirm around in the tub, this mat is great. Mat and kids ( grandkids) stay put.I like the way one end has a little “dip” for the drain. Almost every mat I looked at was either too long and covered half of the drain or too they were too short and didn’t completely cover the bottom of the tub. Ha! This may has you covered!Over all it is a very good deal and well worth the money. I was pleasantly surprised from when I unwrapped the mat and placed it in the tub. It appears very stable and sturdy. Also being a clear mat will make cleaning so simple. I can really tell that it’s been cleaned.(I know, I put it down the wrong wa but even so it still covers where I’ll be standing or moving around on)

Safety
This item is great to have to assure safety when showering or bathing in general. It’s EASY to install. Mainly you clean your tub before applying and press down on the suction cups to latch on the bottom of the tub!! You can remove & reuse it as many times as you need to. The grip for suction is excellent!! It is definitely a safe item to use. I’m more comfortable now that I have one of these installed in my tub. Before this purchase, I’d be scared to shower because I’ve fallen numerous times before or hurt my knees due to the lack of security and slippery surface at the bottom of the tub. The color of the item is exactly as I ordered it. It functions perfectly when you follow instructions. When I opened my package there was absolutely no odor or scent which makes this purchase even more reliable! I will be ordering more of these to come so I can cleanse the original one I purchased a couple months ago.

Not very safe
I ordered the clear, it looks good and fits the tub perfectly. Unfortunately those ‘bubbles’ don’t adhere! I ran hot water in the tub then emptied tub and tried again….this time about 25% of the bubbles adhered. I walked on it, stomped on it with my feet….if doesn’t suction better after 1-2 showers I’ll throw it away as unsafe. This is in the guest room shower so I’ll test it myself before putting a visiting friend or family member at risk.
