Baphomet
is a term originally used to describe an idol or other deity which the Knights Templar were accused of worshiping, and subsequently incorporated into disparate occult and mystical traditions. It appeared as a term for a pagan idol in trial transcripts of the Inquisition of the Knights Templar in the early 14th century. The name first came into popular English usage in the 19th century, with debate and speculation on the reasons for the suppression of the Templars. Since 1856, the name Baphomet has been associated with a “Sabbatic Goat” image drawn by Eliphas Lévi, which contains binary elements representing the “sum total of the universe” (e.g. male and female, good and evil, etc.). However, Baphomet has been connected with Satanism as well, primarily due to the adoption of it as a symbol by the Church of Satan.

The statue arrived with a horn broken off! I’m so ticked!
The first one came with a broken horn but the seller replaced it I just had to take the broken one and drop it off at a UPS store and return it. I love this item! Very detailed.what I like most is there is no satanic pentagram or anything on him because despite the church of Satan adopting Baphomet as a devil or demon, he isn’t! Thanks seller for making things right and replacing the broken one.

I got my Baphomet statue today. As I was unpackaging it, I was afraid that it would be broken. But to my relief, it wasn’t broken, it was together perfectly. Had this statue for 2 years on my nightstand. Fit perfectly, looked great. Yesterday my dog knocked it over and it broke, I have had the worst luck since then. Gonna be ordering another on payday.

Looks pretty neat!
I got this for a specific purpose, and for my purpose this is just great. It looks very nice from the front, but there’s a big glob of glue above the wings. I understand that resin molds may be able to handle the wings on the body, but a better means of attaching them, without glue sticking out like a sore thumb would help. Plus, I worry the glue will wear away at some point. It was a bit pricey for the size, but given this type of imagery isn’t mainstream, I purchased anyway. If you just want this to set on a shelf or altar, it will probably be fine. But if it will be subjected to a lot of movement, then I’m not sure about the wings.

Me gustó mucho el cuidado a los detalles que tiene la estatuilla, es preciosa. Se nota que las hacen con mucho cariño.El envío fue bastante rápido también, llegó antes de lo esperado.Lo único que no me agradó, fue que estaba manchada con algo raro (espero que ningún pervertido se haya divertido en la aduana con mi figura), por lo que tuve que limpiarla, y desafortunadamente despintar la un poco.En fin, es algo que vale la pena comprar. Completamente recomendado.

My husband loves his new statue. The horns stayed intact, as you can see from the photos.. The horns and base were packaged nice enough, the center portion of the statue did not have any extra packaging… I believe it would of been fine if it also had styrofoam on it, as you can see if was broken right in the center. It was a clean enough break, that when he glued it back together its almost seamless.This package was somewhat “lost” in the mail, or basically stayed at one post office for a month ha ha. Its possible that the statue would of made it in one piece had that not happened, but not sure.Im giving 5 stars, as the craftsmanship of this statue is amazing. Its definitely great quality.I would buy again from this seller, however, I do strongly encourage the seller to cover the front and back with Styrofoam… I feel like it would of been completely fine had this been the case.
