We love these wheat straw bowls! They are very well made from sturdy material. The colors in this set are lovely, earthy tones, and will go with many kitchen decor schemes, if that is something that is important to you. I love the fact they are microwave and dishwasher safe, and that they are BPA free and safe for the entire family. These are perfect for use with small children, as they are unbreakable! We also value these bowls for being light weight. We will be using these in our RV, and weight is a real concern when towing trailers or 5th wheels. You have to be careful to keep the content weight of your RV within established weight limits for safety and legal reasons. Using dishware like these bowls provides safe and lightweight dinnerware for RV use. These are a steal at the listed price!

I grabbed this set of 16 brown wheat straw bowls for our chaotic breakfast rushes and they have held up great against the kids knocking them around without a single crack or chip after a month of daily knocks. Cute and durable!
These little bowls are so cute! I love the shape of them and they have turned out to be SO durable. I have used the little fifty cent bowls that go on sale every year at my favorite blue super-store, and I never realized just how much damage they end up taking from the microwave and dishwasher until I got these and saw how resilient they are! They can withstand whatever you throw at them, and don’t even get stained from pasta sauce. I’m going to get another set and throw all my old bowls away in favor of these!

Pleasantly earthy toned, deep sided bowls
These are good quality bowls, and I was surprised to find that “wheat straw” was so similar to plastic that I could not tell the difference. I’m expecting that their eventual contribution to plastics pollution will be significantly reduced. They stood up well to 3-4 minutes in the microwave, reheating yesterday’s potato & sausage soup, and cleaned up well in the dishwasher. They showed no tendency to stain with greasy food as some plastics do. I have yet to try it with chili, though.They are of a good size, with deep sides which resist sloshing. The walls are a bit thin for very hot liquids, but suitable for non-scaldingly hot soup, as I found out. The multiple colors could be useful for separating dishes, or groups, though I haven’t had the occasion to need that. They are uniform their four colors with pleasantly earthy tones.
