Need a specific adapter
This would be five stars if it came with the outlet adapter. But it doesn’t. And I am so sick of products not coming with the adapter. Because listen, the description says ANY 5v adapter will work and that’s not true. I put into one I had on hand, and mid way into doing my make up, the mirror turned off and would not turn back on. Low and behold, the adapter was super hot. Dangerous. So I had to do my own research and now I’m skilled in voltage and amps. So you NEED an adapter that is 5v 3A. The A stands for amps. The V stands for voltage. The mirror must draw more power than a phone. You don’t want more voltage, you want more amps. So please, to be safe, get a 5v 3A adapter. I would hate to know what would have happened if the adapter I had on hand didn’t have the safety mech to shut off when it got too hot—thus turning the mirror off. You can see what kind of adapter you have by reading the itty bitty print on it. And shame on this company and all companies for not providing THE PLUG!! P.S. it had three light modes, I prefer the natural light. It’s nice and bright but doesn’t have a lot of ‘throw’ which is how far the light goes, so you will want to be close to it. You won’t be able to ever change out the lights (leds) if one goes out as they are built in. But I guess that’s what you get for the price. I like it. Though, you will see every flaw on your face. Compared to it, I guess I was doing my make up in the dark, because, yikes.

Arrived today in nice condition. It took forever for the lights to work, I’m not sure what the issue was, I included a video. Plugged in as far as it would go with various plugs. Finally gave the cord a tiny nudge and it worked. So be careful, it’s weirdly sensitive.
